Have you ever completed a level of a game, just to realize the app did not track your activity or reward you points? Follow along as we walk you through the top reasons why your Rewarded Play account may not be registering milestones achieved and what to do about it.
You uninstall an app, then reinstall
So, you've decided to uninstall a game until you are ready to play it? We recommend thinking twice before proceeding - uninstalling and reinstalling your apps have proven to break our tracking capabilities.
When this reinstall occurs, a new tracking confirmation is set up between the app developer and the tracking company, causing you to look like a new player. As a result, we no longer will receive notifications about your progress. Unfortunately, this also means that we can no longer award points for that particular app.
Our team is working on an update that will remove all apps that the user chooses to uninstall. With this new change, we want to highlight the importance of keeping your favorite games installed so that you have the opportunity to enjoy the app while earning points.
You use security or a Virtual Private Network (VPN) software on your device
Rewarded Play's terms of service do not allow the use of VPN software and certain internet service providers (ISP) that disguise your location.
This not meant to infringe on your privacy - but ensure that we only allow new users into the app from approved countries. Since our app is not yet offered globally, we need to maintain the capability of viewing your location. If it is disguised, it will trigger the system to flag your device and block points from being rewarded.
Human error
Despite extensive testing, human error occasionally plays a role in the tracking issues you may experience within the app. When this happens, it is our goal to quickly release a fix, ensuring it doesn't become an ongoing issue for our users.
In the meantime, our support team is available 24/7 to assist with any problems that arise.
Technical communication issues between the companies
The seemingly simple act of communicating that you completed level 5 of Bingo Blitz usually involves a minimum of three companies, dozens of humans and hundreds of opportunities for technical issues. When processing billions of activities, it should come as no surprise that occasionally issues do arise. Thankfully, technical communication issues account for a very small number of errors in the grand scheme of things. Based on our testing, less than 1% of activities have issues because of technical communication between the companies.
